DOTC Hosts Inspiring TED Style Talks with The Product Loft

At Digital Ops-Tech Centre (DOTC), we were thrilled to host a series of engaging TED-style talks in collaboration with The Product Loft, inviting talented Lofties to share their insights on various industries, the challenges they encounter, and the innovative products they've developed. This event offered a valuable opportunity to connect, inspire, and learn from one another within our community.

We had an impressive lineup of speakers from both DOTC and various industries:

  • Bryan Lian, Product Manager at DOTC: Bryan kicked off the session by discussing the establishment of DOTC and its pivotal role in supporting the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) through the in-house development of digital products. His insights highlighted the significance of creating tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

  • Eunice Lee, Product Manager at DOTC: Eunice introduced Pinpoint, a secure AI-assisted media sharing and collaboration platform designed specifically for government users. Her presentation showcased how Pinpoint addresses the unique needs of public sector employees in managing digital assets seamlessly.

  • Tan Liang Ming (Lemond), Bytedance: Lemond provided a compelling exploration of the ad-tech landscape, sharing diverse perspectives from advertisers, consumers, and ad networks. His insights illuminated the complexities and dynamics of the advertising industry in the digital age.

  • Nicole Gan, NinjaVan: Nicole discussed the challenges faced in the logistics industry, detailing how NinjaVan has tackled these issues and her learnings as a Product Manager. Her experiences offered valuable lessons in adaptability and strategic problem-solving.

  • Josh Lim, FastCo: Josh explored the HR-tech landscape and FastCo's unique value proposition, shedding light on the marketplace dynamics and the evolving role of technology in transforming human resource practices.
